The other day I got a small shipment of gold and silver wire (gold filled, I can’t afford gold) along with a whole bunch of other packages in the mail. I had ordered some shoes so I decided to put all the empty packages in the box the shoes came and and… yeah, I put the box with the wire in the shoe box too. I never put jewelry supplies back in their packaging exactly for this reason, but I did this time, absentmindedly. Naturally by the time I realised what I had done the garbage had already been collected. Thankfully it was not a large order. But I literally threw away gold and silver. Yay me.
