I’m taking some time to get acquainted with our new camera. We got an entry level DSLR, a Nikon D3300. I say entry level because that’s how all the reviewers describe it. I don’t know much about cameras so I’ll take their word for it but it seems to have a lot of features to me. But I’ve been using a point and click so what do I know.

Anyway I figured since we’re taking it on vacation that maybe I should know my way around it. I’m one of those who reads the manual. Of everything. So I’m doing this today while I do laundry. 

I’d post some sample pics, but macro shots of my nasal spray and the condensation on my glass of pomegranate juice aren’t really all that compelling.
