Using my rotary tool today to file down a piece and it caught my fingernail and ripped it off. Very neatly I might add. Didn’t hurt, just caught me by surprise.

I was working on a custom order today. I really love making custom pieces. Maybe it’s because most of the time when I make something I’m hoping someone will buy it. A custom piece is already designated to someone, to their specifications and the anticipation of them receiving it always makes me happy. They never disappoint either. 

I’m actually really pissed off at the Oscar nominations this year. They didn’t nominate one actor of colour. Not a single female director. It’s just a circle jerk of a bunch of white men congratulating themselves on their greatness. I’m disgusted. I don’t bother to get disappointed anymore.
