• I went to sleep with a headache and woke up with it. I hate when that happens. I feel like shit for the whole day. I’ve decided to stay out of the studio for the day and watch this tutorial on soldering and fabricating I bought instead. It’s still work.
  • Chris finally went to the doctor (I told him to go back on Monday). He has bronchitis. Poor guy, he’s been feeling like utter shit for a week. I’m mostly recovered from my cold.
  • I feel fatigued after yesterday. I don’t generally get into fights with people online. I don’t post strongly worded messages either. But yesterday I had just had enough. At 42 years old I am wise enough to know that you can’t change anybody, you can’t make them do what you want and you sure can’t make them give a shit. But sometimes you still have to open your fucking mouth.
  • That people are sad/shocked/disgusted that people don’t care about Black Lives Matter makes me shrug. Isn’t it obvious that they don’t care? Have you not been reading the posts (this wouldn’t have happened if fill-in-the-blank-tone/behaviour-policing, Black people just don’t know how to behave), seeing the anti Black sentiment EVERYWHERE (Dylan Roof!, burning of Black churches, calling a child a nigger at her birthday party while driving by with ten rebel flags on your car). I can’t speak for everyone, but I automatically assume a white person is racist until they prove otherwise. I do not assume I live in a world that loves Black people. Not when every country and culture in the world has negative words for Black people. Not when hate for Black people exists in every corner of the planet. So no. OF COURSE they don’t care. I don’t expect them to. If they cared this wouldn’t be happening in the first place.
  • And that doesn’t just go for white people. Man, people will smile to your face and call you nigger the minute you turn your back. Don’t y’all know that? There’s Black people who hate Black people man. C’mon.
